Hi! My name is Reut, which in Hebrew means friendship, and i do try to live up to my name 
I was born in Israel in 1955, which makes me a babyboomer.
Here, once I finished school and so on I started working in a few different kinds of jobs, and after getting married to a man originally from South Africa, we went there for a short visit which for me lasted 16 years.
During those 16 years I completed the BA degree that I started in Israel, had 3 kids, and also did a computer programming course.
For about 6 years i worked as a programmer, then stopped and devoted my time to looking after the kids – getting them to scholl, extra lessons, extra murals, birthday parties, therapies, friends……..
And then, after 16 years there, I decided to go back home to Israel.
Here i went back to my programming, and for 10 years was part of the corporate world – big companies, commuting to and from work, trying to please all sorts of bosses.
The decision to leave all that behind me was not entirely mine, but it came just in time.
